Paeonies
Paeonies are striking, long-lived, herbaceous perennials that bear large, cup-shaped flowers in early summer, in a huge array of colours. The double varieties are particularly showy, with many, ruffled petals, while the single varieties often have beautiful, contrasting colours and patterns. The deeply divided leaves create a perfect backdrop for later flowering perennials. Paeonies are ideal for creating a focal point in any garden.
