Campanulas
Campanulas, also known as Bellflowers, are herbaceous perennials that produce bell-shaped flowers in shades of blue, pink and white from early to late summer. Depending on the variety, the blooms can be borne on tall arching stems up to 6ft tall, such as Campanula pyramidalis, as low, glowing carpets of flowers, such as Campanula carpatica or on as round umbels of starry blooms, such as campanula glomerata. Campanulas make perfect companions to shrub roses and perennials such as Phlox and Delphiniums.
