Roses

Roses
Our Oxford rose emporium at Bunkers Hill offers over 200 varieties of root-wrapped roses during the winter and early spring. We also have many varieties available during the summer, potted and in flower.
Floribundas

Floribundas are bush roses that bear their flowers in abundant clusters, in a huge range of colours. They are often scented and repeat flowering so will provide colour all summer long.

Hybrid Tea

Hybrid Teas produce beautifully formed, high centered flowers on individual stems. These bush roses are generally repeat flowering and their blooms are perfect for cutting.

Standard Roses

Standard roses make classic features in containers, or as focal points that add height to a border. They are floribundas or hybrid teas that have been grafted onto a tall stem.

Climbers & Ramblers

Ideal for training over an arch or pergola, or to cover the wall of a house.

David Austin, Old English & Shrub Roses

These shrub roses are larger than floribundas and hybrid teas and are wonderfully scented. Many are repeat flowering and provide cascades of colour all summer and give a natural feel to a garden.

Ground Cover & Spreading

These low growing roses are perfect for covering large areas with a sea of summer colour. Ideal for planting on sloping banks or at the front of a border.

Patio Roses

These compact roses are generally very free-flowering and look great in containers, or planted near the front of a border
