This is our most popular half barrel, it is big enough to plant shrubs, or small trees such as Acers or dwarf fruit trees and is perfect for acid loving plants such as Peiris and dwarf Rhododendrons. It is 24" diameter and is remade from the timber of original whiskey barrels. The new metal bands are painted black.

This is one of our largest half barrels - big enough to plant shrubs, or small trees such as Acers or dwarf fruit trees. It is watertight and so is often used as a water feature. It is 28" diameter and is half a hogshead whisky barrel, the bands are a natural rust colour and can easily be painted black using Hammerite.

It is half a 140 gallon whisky barrel and is ideal for larger shrubs, small trees and is often used by councils for street planters because of its large volume. The bands are painted black to complement the old rustic timber. - collection only or delivery by arrangment.

These strong, durable recycled plastic waterbutts have removable lids, and can easily be fitted with a tap. The lids are airtight and watertight.
The barrels have previously been used to store olives and pickles (may have very small traces left in the bottom of the barrel).
