About Us
We are a small family run nursery situated 8 miles north of Oxford and just 2 miles from Blenheim Palace near Woodstock. All our staff have a wide range of horticultural knowledge and are always pleased to offer any help or advice our customers may require. As an old-fashioned nursery we strive to preserve the traditional values, i.e. sound and friendly advice along with a huge selection of top quality plants. Our prices are generally 30% less expensive than national garden centers and we don't believe in silly '99p' to create the impression of a bargain, so where you may pay £2.99 elsewhere you will probably find ours is £2. We have been established for 20 years and specialise in growing a diverse range of garden plants including many old and rare varieties.

We are open everyday from 10am until 6pm during the spring (including Tuesdays). Please note, we will be closed on Tuesdays from the beginning of the school summer holidays

Yorkshire Pots An exciting collection of frost proof pots in many different shapes and sizes - for collection only | Summer Flowering Bulbs A variety of Summer flowering bulbs and tubers including Dahlias, Crocosmia, Agapanthus, Nerines, Gladioli and Paeonies. Ready to plant now. | Box Topiary We have box balls, spirals, cones and pyramids and standards in many different sizes. Hedging Our nursery is famous for its hedging throughout Oxfordshire. Bare-root and rootball plants are available from November until the end of march, potted specimens during Spring, Summer and Autumn. Call in and select from our 'Cash and Carry' display or order online. | Iron Garden Furniture and Sundries We have a changing range of old and vintage iron benches, tables, chairs, archs and gazebos. Old fashioned watering cans, baths, vases and other unique and quirky items dotted around the nursery. | Fruit Trees Hundreds of fruit trees in stock; Apples, Pears, Plums, Cherries including many old fashioned varieties. Our full range is available bare-rooted November until March, and many varieties are also available potted during spring and summer. |
Bird Seed A super range of 'Johnson & Jeffs' bird seed, from small bags packed by us for extra value to bulk sacks. We also have bird feeders, meals worms and fat balls available from the nursery - best prices for miles around. | Oak Barrels & Tubs Our oak whiskey barrels are great for using as planters, or as tables. They range from from 16" half tubs to whole 100 gallon hogshead barrels. | Asparagus, Seed Potatoes & Onion Sets Asparagus crowns now available.
