About us
We are a small family run nursery situated 8 miles north of Oxford and just 2 miles from Blenheim Palace near Woodstock. All our staff have a wide range of horticultural knowledge and are always pleased to offer any help our customers may require. As an old-fashioned nursery we strive to preserve the traditional values, i.e. sound and friendly advice along with a huge selection of top quality plants. Our prices are generally 30% less expensive than national garden centres and we don't believe in silly '99p' to create the impression of a bargain, so where you may pay £2.99 elsewhere you will probably find ours is £2. We have been established for 20 years and specialise in growing a diverse range of garden plants including many old and rare varieties.
New Season Perennials Now Ready
With the days lengthening and the sun beginning to shine, our new seasons stock of perennials are now ready for sale in the nursery. A multitute of old favourites, and more unusual varieties. The choice will continue to expand over the coming few weeks.

We still have a good range of soft fruit, fruit trees, hedging, ornamental trees and roses, available until late April. We offer nationwide delivery on most bareroot stock

We are now taking online payments, with the majority of our items available for nationwide delivery. The postage guide on the left hand side of this page gives an indication of postage costs. Bare-root and rootball plants are available from November until the end of march, potted specimens during Spring, Summer and Autumn. Roses Our Oxford rose emporium at Bunkers Hill offers over 200 varieties of root-wrapped roses during the winter and early spring. We also have many varieties available during the summer, potted and in flower. | Ornamental trees One of Oxfordshires widest range of ornamental trees such as flowering cherries, mountain ash crab apples etc. we also have a splendid selection of native trees including Oaks, Hornbeam, Birch, Willow and Beach etc. etc. | Fruit Trees Hundreds of fruit trees in stock; Apples, Pears, Plums, Cherries including many old fashioned varieties. Our full range is available bare-rooted November until March, and many varieties are also available potted during spring and summer. |
Bird Seed A super range of 'Johnson & Jeffs' bird seed, from small bags packed by us for extra value to bulk sacks. We also have bird feeders, meals worms and fat balls available from the nursery - best prices for miles around. | Compost, Bark, Stakes and Canes Humax and John Innes compost, as well as bark chippings, and manure. We also have a range of canes, tree guards and stakes | Oak Barrels & Tubs and Waterbutts Our oak whiskey barrels are great for using as planters, or as tables. Flower Shop We are a small family-run flowershop situated at our "Good Value Plant Nursery" near Oxford, Kidlington and Woodstock. Bamboos Bamboo is ideal for creating an evergreen, airy screen, or planted as a focal point.
